Vasudha Chhotray was awarded an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship for the year 2004-5. The objectives of the award are to disseminate, publish and take forward previously completed doctoral research.
In the course of her postdoctoral year, Vasudha has completed a short stint of additional fieldwork in Andhra Pradesh, India, written and presented papers from her PhD at international conferences, submitted papers to refereed journals and collaborated with other scholars to produce joint research papers on themes relating to her core research interests: governance, the state, the politics of policy making and natural resource management.
