IPEG's academic interests in global governance have evolved from two perspectives. First was the appointment of Dr Vasudha Chhotray, whose work in the area has widened IPEG's global governance research. For details of Dr Chhotray's work, please click here.

Secondly, IPEG hosted the University of Manchester's Hallsworth Conference 'Opening up Governance' in Spring 2006, and which offered a platform for global governance themes. Collaboration with the Centre for International Politics is already underway and it is anticipated that new appointments in the field of international politics will open up ways to new forms of exchange and collaboration.
