Project summary

This research is being done jointly with LSE Housing at the London School of Economics. The project will examine and barriers and incentives to housing market mobility, in particular in entering owner occupation, amongst Bangladeshi households and Pakistani households. It will look at three areas: Bradford, Birmingham and Tower Hamlets, and will focus on the housing aspirations of South Asian women. This project is funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) , and is due to start in early 2007.
