Project summary

Community coherence is an extremely complex challenge facing local government and communities. Many positive moves have already taken place towards cohesion, but there are still some of the underlying aspects of this agenda that we have not yet unpacked or discussed openly. This will be a piece of strategic thinking in partnership with political, managerial and other community leaders in the region. It will be underlined by solid analytical and empirical background research, and will involve a series of strategic discussions between the CfLG and NWIN members. It will aim to unpick the issues in the community cohesion agenda, look at the arguments underneath the activity, re-assess what we are trying to achieve and how.
