Council’s and Communities’ roles in Civil Renewal

This conference was organised jointly by the Institute for Political and Economic Governance (IPEG), The University of Manchester and the newly formed North West Improvement Network (NWIN). It was designed to stimulate innovative thinking, explore fresh ideas and create a new sense of purpose linking the different aspects of local government to civil renewal and focus on the drive towards “improvement” for local communities.
